Great shorts
I really like these shorts. I’m in my 50’s and it’s hard to find a short that’s not too short to workout in, but these are perfect. I now own a few pairs. Very comfortable, very flattering. I am 5’8” 148 lbs, the medium fit perfectly.

Too frumpy
I thought I wanted a longer short but when I tried these on I immediately felt older, frumpy, and masculine. I ordered another short with a shorter hem and instantly looked thinner. While the legs are loose, the waist seemed small for a medium. I usually find the waist to be small on Sweaty Betty bottoms. For someone 5'5" these were too long, but might be better on someone taller.

These shorts are the best dri fit type shorts I have ever had. They are a bit heavier fabric which keeps its shape and wears well. They are very comfortable and wash up well. Wash them inside out and either hang to dry or low temp in dryer. They seem to be true to size These shorts are my favorite!
