I have worn Stuart W for years, boots, pumps for work and Formal shoes for special occasions. My usual size 9 has always fit perfectly until these. They are painfully narrow. Gave 2 stars because the design is lovely. The fit makes them unwearable. Try sizing up for width I suppose, and hope the length will work in the larger size. I returned. Good luck!

I am normally a size 10 and sometimes 11 depending on the brand. These boots wouldn’t fit even though I sized up. It also feels cheap. I bit you can get a $30 boot that feels better quality than the leather on those boots. As a boot lover, owning a variety of brands, including SW. these by far the worst I ever tried on. I am returning them.

These are gorgeous boots but they run small as others have said. I purchased my normal SW size 9. They fit like an 8.5 in the toe box width and top of the foot. The calf is surprisingly roomy. The boot from the ankle down is very narrow for sure. I've stretched tight red bottom heels before with alcohol spray, stretchers and thick socks with success so I will try that with these given the great price and low heel. I will wear these in short spurts for special events so the minor discomfort while I'm breaking them in is a doable trade off for me. If I were wearing all day for work I would probably not bother. If you can size up 1/2 a size at least. The height of the heel, soft leather and sleek design give it 4 stars but one off for the sizing.

These are Stuart’s so the leather is beautiful, smooth, and not too stiff. They are a steal for the price. The body of the boot does come up a little too high though. If you are sitting & have your legs at a 90 degree angle or less it cuts into the back of your knee in a very uncomfortable way. I don’t have particularly short legs. I am pretty average in my leg to body ratio. I do have a number of SW boots and I do love how they look and feel but they are never a boot for all day. I do wish SW would put in little padding or even some Nike Air so they could be worn all day.
