Beautifully Crafted Handbag
I absolutely loved this bag but it was far smaller than it appeared in the photos. Also the magnetic closure does not work at all.
Had to return .. but I am impressed with the quality of the leather. Will look for other Strathberry bags in the future.

Disappointed
Yes, the magnetic closure is a joke, as a puff of air disengages it. The deciding factor in my returning the bag, however, was the gaudiness of the gold hardware -- harsh and cheesy against such stunning tan leather. The pictures make the hardware appear more muted, which is why I took a chance. How desperately this bag cries out for matte silver hardware - this and the navy/grey version too. It came in a bright pink Kate Spade bag, adding insult to injury...

Agreed with the previous review. If it’d seen the review when looking, I wouldn’t place the order! It could have been the same leather bucket bag that shuffling around with the button magnets that won’t stick! Even when the bag is emptied out! Shouldn’t have been stronger and perhaps bigger magnets than those dime-size thin ones for the size of the bag ! Nordstrom should send it back to the manufacturer for a repair. Concept and leather material are beautiful.
Besides, shipped with the security magnet on!!! So, will have to wait for a trip to Nordstrom for a return!

beautiful but not quite right
I wanted to love this bag. The leather is gorgeous and the design is clean and classic. But the magnetic closure doesn’t work. The bag pops open seconds after closure. It’s just too weak. So close but had to return. The search continues.
