Tori Tie Waist Denim Midi Shirtdress

I am very happy with this dress. I received it yesterday and wore it to work today Very cute, flattering style. I'm 5 4 1/2 snd the length was good for me. The dress was very comfortable and I had no gapping around the buttons. It fit similar to the picture however the tie is not nearly as long as in the picture. The tie starts on each side so it doesn't wrap fully around, which I liked. I usually wear a 4-6 and ordered this in a 6 and it was perfect.

This is a fun dress, so different from anything in my closet. Very flattering with the ruched skirt and wide sash. Would have preferred darker color denim looking fabric. However, it arrived a wrinkled mess. I very much appreciate that it is cotton, however a cotton blend with a little bit of polyester or modal would have been better to address the wrinkly issue. To be clear though, I will not buy anything that is 100% polyester as it traps heat and gets sweaty and gross, but a cotton poly blend is the best of both worlds. Why is that blend so hard to find? I see this style dress is available in lots of other patterns/ colors but they are all 100% polyester. yuk!
