Milo Sleeveless Gathered Midi Dress

This dress can be wore to the office as well as out on the town for dinner. It is soft and lined with a small amount of stretch. The leg slot is great for when going out on town as well as pinned close when in the office. It is true to size. And I have gotten several compliments both at work and at parties.

I’m 5’2”, about 140 lbs, and bought this in a size 4 (in-store). I almost grabbed a 6 because I carry some weight in my midsection and have a larger bust (36.5” bust, 30” waist, 38.5” hips, DD cup), but the size 4 fit perfectly. I was surprised at how flattering it was — it hugged all the right places and gently smoothed out my mom pooch without feeling restrictive. The fabric has just a bit of stretch — enough to help it mold to your shape comfortably, but not so much that I’d call it stretchy. The dress is lined, which made it feel more high-end and helped it stay in place all night. I wore a strapless bra underneath and didn’t need shapewear (though I was ready to!). I felt held-in, confident, and very comfortable throughout the entire event. I wore this to a wedding where brown was part of the color palette, and I received so many compliments. I paired it with bronze heels and accessories, and the whole look came together beautifully. The square neckline is modern and flattering, and the midi length with the subtle front slit added just enough elegance and edge. I didn’t steam or iron it, and it didn’t wrinkle at all while wearing. Bottom Line: I’d absolutely wear this again — for weddings, date nights, or even a dressy dinner. If you’re curvy and wondering about fit, this is a great option that looks structured but still moves with you. Highly recommend!
