Annie Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

I am the first girl to say "beauty is pain" & suffer through an uncomfortable (& even painful) pair of heels, but these heels brought that to a new level. I wore them for about 45 minutes just standing around at a networking event before I absolutely HAD to take them off. Even wearing them for just 45 minutes, I have blisters on both heels & also now have a bump on my left foot that is painful & swollen. Days later, the bump is still there, I am limping, & I need to see a doctor. I have never had this happen. I bought them in the right size, placed precautionary bandaids as I always do with new heels, & still. . . the pain was unbearable. Please listen to the reviews & DO NOT BUY.

Let me just start by saying: these heels are criminally cute. Truly, they look like they were handcrafted by angels with a flair for fashion. I bought them as a bridesmaid for my sister’s wedding. . I’m like – sleek, stylish, the kind of shoe that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together. BUT. The second I stood up in them, I knew I'd have to pay. They have zero support. The arch? Nonexistent. The padding? A myth. It felt like someone glued a spike to a piece of cardboard and said, "Here, now strut. " I lasted maybe 20 minutes before the pain started radiating through my feet like fire. I pushed through for the photos (because again – adorable), but by the end of the night I was walking like a baby deer learning to stand. . . after falling down a mountain. It’s been two days and my feet are still screaming. I’m not convinced I’ll ever know peace again. They’re beautiful. They’re deadly. If you like walking, or standing, or not crying in public – do not buy these. Let my pain be your warning.

I got the wine color ones and they’re so sexy. It’s not my usual style because I tend to go for a more cute look rather than sexy, but a sales rep recommended it and I loved it. I’ve worn them for the max time of 6 hours and they’re quite comfortable, especially for my arch. I think that they are worth it.
