Joan Shirtdress

I chose this light weight, fitted dress because I was headed to Egypt this summer and needed coverage that was stylish despite the heat, this dress was perfect for walking around the pyramids. It runs true to size except it is designed for a taller person. I had to have several alterations for the dress length, sleeve length, and the length between the waist and the back of my neck. As usual, Nordstrom alterations did an excellent job. I also had them add snaps between the buttons, so I suggest sitting down in the dress and seeing where it gaps. The only thing I wish is that this dress came with pockets. I should have thought about it before I left and had the alterations people add them.
