Sportswear Long Parka

As someone else shared, this jacket is purely a fashion statement. It's falsely advertised as a "Parka" yet it's not even qualified to be a windbreaker?! A Parka is a warm "outerwear" coat and this couldn't be further from that. This is at best an edgy, urban design, made using a fun recycled polyester fabric that's sadly extremely flimsy. At most this could be safely called a shell because it doesn't serve a purpose other than offering a lightweight cover up that covers a good portion of your body. It's not water proof, wind proof or warm, so don't expect it to protect you from the elements. The fit is urban sporty and is meant to be slouchy looking best on a young carefree body. It's not flattering, quite the opposite, with an oversized upper body, where the waistline rides extremely low on your hips. And a bottom half that fits closer to the body, hugging the hips and depending on your shape could feel awkward. A jacket like this would be best worn on a dry, windless 65-75 degree day while on a walk, with leggings, sneakers and a cute tee! The one purpose this does serve is as a good cover for someone who prefers hiding their tush, because it does this well. The other positive is the color! The print is lovely and hot pink is super fashionable right now, rockin' the red carpet! But it's a lot to pay for a frumpy, awkwardly fitting shell where the color and print may appeal to the 45-60 woman, yet the style and fit are an urban fit and look best on young adults. You be the judge, but don't expect it to provide any warmth!
