Fair Isle Crewneck Sweater

This sweater is a beautiful color and the cut is cute; however, the cashmere is a little thin and the biggest problem is that the shiny threads in the fair isle weave break loose! I have only worn it 5-6 times this winter, and have never washed or dry cleaned it (always wore a shirt or undershirt beneath, plus I don’t really sweat in the middle of winter). But I just paid a tailor $20 to help me understand what was happening before I took it to the cleaners—she cut and knot approximately 20 loose threads! Anyway, for the price of the sweater, this needs to be addressed.
