Just Miss the Mark
Two shoe rules I live by: I always will buy cute red shoes, and I don’t keep shoes that are uncomfortable. Sadly, these follow both rules. The style is super cute and was a must buy for me. I was a bit disappointed in the red. It’s not a candy apple red but leans more USC red (go Bruins) which was not great for me but it was so cute I kept them. Regretting it now because I wore them today and the toe box is very small. Both big toenails hurt by noon, from the toe area being very flat. The length is fine but there just isn’t any toe room. Felt like I was headed back to my ingrown toenails days (surgery fixed those). So now I have super cute red shoes that aren’t quite red and hurt my toes. Not much winning there.

Very comfortable but a muted red…
I fell in love with this shoe and was thrilled that they had them in red and then I started scanning through the reviews. Most were positive and spoke of being comfortable (they are!) but I saw one review in which the consumer admitted that they were not a true ‘bright’ red. I paused for a moment before adding to my cart but I was so smitten with them I went ahead and took a chance. I’m glad I did. Although they are not the typical intense red I think they are wearable, neutral, and extremely comfortable. I took my usual 7.5 and I did not have the ‘toe box’ issue that some reviews had mentioned. I hope future colors will include a navy or brown.
