Slade Long Wool Blazer

I own an ivory tweed Slade Blazer and absolutely love it, so I was excited to pick up another in a darker color for fall and winter. Unfortunately, this version didn’t live up to the same level of quality. The fabric feels surprisingly flimsy and lacks the plush, substantial weight I enjoy from my other Rag & Bone blazers. It also attracts lint easily. The zigzag embroidery on the collar feels out of place and doesn’t add the elevated touch I was hoping for. On the positive side, the fit is excellent (I’m 5'9", 135 lbs, and the size 4 fits perfectly), the lining is well-constructed, and the metal buttons are beautiful. However, for the price, I expected a better fabric and more luxurious finish. I ended up returning it.

Felt more like a polyester blend. Very thin & of no substance. Doublechecked the tag & it says 100% virgin wool label but the blazer feels so thin. Sizing is fine but finishing details like buttons at the wrists are non existent & further cheapens the look. Pockets are nonfunctional. Not even able to remove stitching to try to access a pocket bc they just never made them. Cannot return bc I’d tossed it aside in disappointment & forgotten about.
