Tie Waist Ombrè Skirt Gown

This gown is perfect for my nephew's wedding in May. I prefer to wear navy to weddings as it gives the slimming effect of black without looking like a cocktail dress. The skirt on this is lined with a tulle to keep it from sticking between the legs. There are pockets - a nice added bonus. The 3/4 length sleeve is perfect for me. The tie waist is slightly above the waist and adds to slimming effect. I am 5'9" and 170lbs. The size 12 fits and hits the floor.

I really love this dress. Bought it as step-mother of the groom :) for a winter wedding next year. So early to make the purchase, but I loved it at first sight and knew I might not find another dress that I loved as much. I did size up as suggested. (Normally I'm an 8; I ordered a 10). I think I could have gotten away with an 8 as the top is just a bit loose, but after holiday eating I may just need the extra room :) The only thing is it is very very long - I'm 5'7" and it is still at least an inch or two dragging on the floor. I planned on wearing flats, but now I'm thinking heels. Regardless, it is simply stunning. So so happy with it.

It’s a beautiful dress. It doesn’t fit me right and doesn’t seem true to size. Having it altered to accommodate my needs.

The fit on the top is exquisite, fitted but not tight. The full skirt with 3-layers including tulle is just right. I purchased for my niece’s wedding and these are her colors. I think I will outdo everyone except the bride of course.

Fits true-to-size. Love the ombré and especially the pockets. Very elegant yet simple. Beautiful dress.
