Not Afraid of Rain
Shoes were surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, a roomy size 9 that didn’t look at all clunky for leather hiking shoes. My first outing was a Florida bird garden tour in light rainy conditions. My feet stayed dry and comfy throughout. I bought them specifically for a spring trip to the northern Italian lakes where I feel they’ll be perfect for the mountainous terrain

Doesn't compare with Jungle Moc lace-up
I bought these because Merrell stopped making the Jungle Moc lace-up AC+, which was amazingly comfortable and the perfect combo of soft upper and motion stability sole. The Siren doesn't compare well. The upper is too hard, and, unlike the Jungle Moc lace-up, there isn't enough cushioning. My foot hits the upper when I walk, and hurts my toes. So disappointed. Please bring back the Jungle Moc lace-up!!

So comfortable
Exactly what I wanted! Extremely comfortable, great for rainy weather, waterproof and keeps my feet dry and warm. Using it for just getting around town and my walks. My only complaint is that the shoes are heavier than I would like, but the perfect fit and they are so comfortable, I’ll deal with the weight.

Bottom are hard as a rock, like stone, no cushion
I’m soooo disappointed. I was so waiting for these with high hopes. There is zero cushioning on the bottom. It’s like standing on hard stone. I have never felt anything so hard. I usually can only wear HOKAs bit I don’t like that they have all high platforms now. They are like walking on stilts. So, I said I’ll give Merrells a try. Hard as a rock!
