Quality leather boots from Seychelles. Having bought most of my bootwear from Seychelles, I was slightly disappointed with this boots’ design. Quality is great and it is leather material. But the leather is stiff, and unless you are a very tall person or have long legs, the back support sort of stuck on your knee and calf area. Standing is not an issue. But sitting will be an issue for a petite person like me. Sadly, will have to return…

The description is untrue. The lining of the boots is synthetic, not leather. Wouldn’t have bought it if the description was true. Also, the boots feel very plastic, the zippers are terrible, hard to sip up and down. Boots that I bought with less than half the retail price has much better quality than this pair. Don’t buy it even if they are on deep discounts. You’ll regret it

I received my boots a few days ago and I am happy with mine. I realize everyone's experience may be different, but no complaints here. The boots that I received are leather as described including the lining. They have the genuine leather smell with which I am familiar. They have the sheen(?) of genuine black leather. I did check online photos for comparison based on the negative reviews. The camera lighting im some online photos make the boots appear shiner like patent leather than they are in person. They are true to size. You may want to consider sizing upward if you have issues with your feet swelling. They fit my calves perfectly. I'm sorry the other reviewers were not happy with their purchase. These boots are just what I wanted!

These are not shiny as depicted in the photos. They’re very basic, dull leather. They look a bit cheap. I typically wear 7.5 or 8, ordered an 8 so I could wear thicker socks. They were gigantic! I suspect I would have needed a 7 and they would still be too roomy. The shaft is very wide too. I have what is kindly called athletic calves and they were way too wide even for me. Returned and am not going to try in another size.
