Beachcomber Espadrille Water Shoe (Women)

They are cute shoes and would be comfortable if the top seam around the ankle didn't fit so tight. I went up a half size and the band still digs into the back of my ankle bone. And the fabric doesn't breathe at all, so being black, it seems to attract the heat and my feet sweat. I waited too long to actually wear them so can't return them, but I definitely would if I could! Possibly the sandal style might breathe/fit better.

I read a ton of reviews on various websites before buying. Many said this shoe runs small but I disagree. I am 5'3", my foot is a perfect 6.5 and the size 7 fit perfectly. Nike sneakers run short on me and I size up to 7. The material of this is neoprene, not canvas—they are water shoes that look like espadrilles—fabulous idea! The neoprene stretches and ur not supposed to have a ton of space in the front, they are water shoes, don't want them to slide off in the water or on the beach. I had no problem with heel-digging or too narrow heel. Bottom line is, these are a basic sized shoe, they aren't Birkenstock shoes. If a person has extra weight on their feet, they may be too small. If your foot doesn't fit basic high heel pumps or stilletos, then size up or this may not be the shoe for you.

Pros: comfy insoles and fabric, fabric is also stretchy, cute and versatile style, machine washable Cons: took little bit for my feet to get used to the insole, the little holes on the fabric keeps getting dust and pebbles inside during walks, after about 6 months fabric stretched out and I can no longer wear it cos it got too loose

I needed water shoes for a recent trip and these are by far the cutest option out there. They held up well during walks and swims. My only complaint is that the back digs into your foot a bit - I think this is probably to ensure the shoes stay on in the water, but it got uncomfortable after a while (and I did size up).
