Leather and looks great!
I'm 5'7" with long legs and these fit just over the knee. I'm not wide and not slim, they stay straight (not bunched). I'm getting them in both colors. It's so nice to find something with real leather nowadays. The leather is not too thin - it stays up. The inside of the top part is faux, but it feels okay. I'm guessing where the foot goes is real leather because Schutz.

Poorly designed
Cute, but they don’t fit well at all. I don’t have large calves but these boots were super tight on my legs. Once I got them off, I was happy to put them back in the box and return them.

upper looked cheap
Wanted to love these boots, but the upper looked cheap/synthetic. Perhaps it was how they came folded/creased in the box, but I didn’t have the time or inclination to try and bring them back to life. They were slightly tight in the toe box with little give. Did not work for me.

poor quality
I have average sized calves and wasn’t able to get the boot high enough to prevent the ankle bunching issue. See photos. I really wanted to love these and am disappointed.

beautiful boot
The quality is superb. The boots feel so good and they are so beautiful. I had to return them because I have a wide calf and there is a bit of stitching at the bottom of the split in the back of the boot. the stitching had no stretch so I could not pull it up over my calf. I was so disappointed because the boot is so beautiful. I wanted to keep them. I tried everything: with stockings, lotion, all scenarios however I could not get the boot all the way up over my calf. If you have a wide calf You should probably go into the store to try them on. I purchased online; they didn’t work out for me.
