Great, well-made shoe, but in the narrow side.
These were exactly what I wanted and extremely well made (a great deal at the sale price), but I had to return them because they run very narrow. Such a shame. The search continues.

the strangest fit
I don't even know how to describe the fit of this shoe. SO STRANGE. Starting with the width, it was true to width. No problems there. In terms of the size? I don't even know where to begin. I'm a 6.5 and the length of the shoe (the sole/leather part) was fine, maybe a tiny bit large but nothing I would have a problem with when walking...if the straps weren't an issue. The real issue was the straps. More specifically, the ankle strap. While the length of the sole was fine, the strap seemed to fit like a 7.5 instead of a 6.5. There was a gap between my ankle and the strap, hardly holding my heel in place. I felt like I could like kick them off without unbuckling them if I really tried. That's how loose the ankle strap was. There's no way to tighten the back of the strap since only the front tightens with the buckle, so I was forced to return them even though I really wanted to love them...
