Luciana Puffer Coat

I have a petite hourglass figure and so I usually have to size up 1-2 sizes for jackets to fit my chest and shoulders and so I can wear thicker sweaters underneath without feeling constricted. The photos do not do justice the unflattering, triangular cut of the jacket. It looks like an ugly sleeping bag with a hood. Very sad this was final sale so I can’t return it.

I own several Save The Duck coats and while I’ve loved them all I think this is my favorite. Like other Save TD, the arms run narrow so I bought a medium instead of a small so I could layer underneath (I could have gotten away with a small). Otherwise it fits just as pictured. It’s a longer coat, but that’s what I was looking for. Just like the photo it is more fitted at the top and slightly bigger at the bottom. For me this was perfect- I like being able to move and sit without feeling constricted. The hood can be rolled and snapped in the back which is a nice feature. The grey is darker in person.

This is my 2nd Save the Duck purchase. I bought this coat without trying on. It's a beautiful coat...BUT...the hood us enormous. Every time I lean forward the giant hood flops forward over my head. IF I put the hood up (in rain or snow)...the hood is at least 5 to 6 inches in front of my face. It's crazy. My other Save the Duck Puffer is a shorter coat with a more streamlined hood. Other than this hood issue it's a lovely high quality coat & a great price @ Nordstrom Rack

This coat for the price is an absolute steal! It is SO cute. I actually love the way it flares out at the bottom and I think it would be perfect over a skirt or dress but also would be so cute with jeans. The main zipper and the ones on the pockets are not obvious or bulky which makes it look sleek and classy. Super happy I took the chance and ordered it!
