Not for an 8 inch wrist
Don’t make my mistake, the circumference indeed is 8” — with a 2.5” diameter. I misinterpreted it to be for an 8” wrist. That said, this is not a firm and sturdy piece, despite being nearly as thick as a Lagos bangle (at a lesser price). It could easily bend in the on/off process. The peridots are approximately 1/4” x 1/4” with an open back, nice and sparkly. So, if you are a petite August baby and handle your jewelry gingerly you might enjoy wearing this piece. For me it is going back.

Simple Elegance
I’d recently bought a different Samuel B bangle as a high school graduation gift for my great niece. It was much weightier but the Balinese design was more youthful. This bangle is not as weighty but hardly fragile. The design is delicate and of simple elegance. This 76 year old petite Leo baby has a medium sized hand and had no difficulty getting it on. I love it!
