Caitlin Knee High Boot (Women)

This item is not at all sized as it says on the website. The shaft circumference is *maybe* 15 inches. I purchased a half size up since I anticipated wearing socks with these, and I couldn't even get my foot into the footbed. The structure at the heel is so restrictive I couldn't get my foot in. The leather doesn't really feel luxurious as one would expect for the price, and feels a little cheap. I can see why these are on sale. I am returning.

A couple of things: the leather looks really cheap (I got the brown), the heel looks plastic, and the boot slouches at the ankle. It is a pull on boot, which is fine as long as you don't want to tuck in jeans. I tried to upload pictures, but the site won't let me. It's not an awful boot, but it's not worth the price.

I really like these boots and the leather is really soft. I got these on sale so I’d say they’re worth the sale price but I don’t think I would get them at full price. I wear a size 8-8.5 and the size guide said the 39 is a US 8.5 so that’s what I ordered. They’re huge but the calf part looks great. I will need to return and look for a 7.5. Hopefully the calf still fits well if I size down. So, they’re great if you manage to figure out the correct size and get them on sale.

I didn't want to love these boots because they are pricey, but I did. The styling looks rich, the leather is soft and color is a medium milk chocolate, the buckle detail adds a nice touch and they slide on easily without a side or back zipper. The shaft comes up to/covers my knee at a nice cut off point and somehow make my short legs look long and lean. I ordered my usual size 8 I wear in heels and boots and they fit perfect. My toes aren't crunched by the pointed toe, the heel may be a bit too high to walk around comfortably for hours but I think would be ok for dinner drinks out. Unfortunately I cannot get past these are made in China for such a splurge. Not in love to keep these.
