the perfect black denim dress at least for now
I saw this at Nordstroms and been looking for a black denim dress. I’m overweight and more conscious of getting in shape. I’m 53 and 5”5. Normally a size 12. I need to tone up. That being said, I immediately grabbed this off the rack with glee and asked for a dressing room . To my shock, I fit into this dress and had almost an hour glass figure. I look like I lost 20 pounds. I was always happy it was on sale. It’s form fitting and slimming for me. Everybody has different needs, shapes and likes and dislikes. Very happy with this purchase. High quality too. Even if/when I lose weight it should still last for a couple dress sizes down. Just a looser fit. A timeless piece.

Too hot for Texas
Denim is hard to pull off during Texas summers. This dress fits too tight to allow breathability in the heat. I’d say it runs a little small. Good length and style otherwise.
