I am 5'8" tall with a 40C bust and a mature size 14/16 figure. I ordered this shirt in size XXL, after checking the size chart. PROS: The cult following for these shirts is real for a reason - the rayon fabric is very soft and drapes well. The patterns are classic and wearable without being too masculine. The garment length and sleeve length is as shown. Due to the relaxed style, the XXL fit. CONS: This brand has contemporary sizing instead of missy, so the larger sizes sold quicker. I would have bought more patterns, if sizing had been available. I am concerned about the "hand wash only" care instructions.

I really wanted this shirt but have to return because the buttons are oddly placed so it gapes at the bust, even though it fits perfectly. I don't want to bother with using fashion tape to keep it closed. It's an expensive shirt and shouldn't have an issue like this for the price.

The pros- super soft and has a nice drape. Colors and fabric are really luxe for a plaid shirt which is nice. Cons- I ordered a size small based on the size chart and it fit really nicely. Not tight or too loose and it had the perfect drape. Problem was whenever I moved my arms at all the button fabric would start to gape at the bust. I don’t have a large bust so it doesn’t do it when I’m still but if I lift my arms at all it starts to gape. I could use tape but I really don’t like fussy clothing so back it goes. I definitely think that if I size up it would be unflattering.

This is the first time I've purchased a Rails shirt. I love this particular color/pattern because it goes with so many items I already own. My concern is the washing instructions which are hand wash and hang to dry. Ugh!!! I'm 5' 5" 125 pounds and purchased a medium.

I am a fan of rails tops (I own solids & plaids) & can say these work with everything. Quality, soft & fashionable. I usually size up to a large in these (normally a medium in other tops but large busted). It doesn't pull across the bust & washes well. Super soft & comfy & have worn alone or under blazers, leather or cardigans.
