Shiloh Platform Chelsea Boot (Women)

I bought these boot when they went on sale and I got a ridiculous deal on them. I was waiting to get them, and I am so happy that I did. They are gorgeous. I read the reviews, not just from Nordstom, but on the R&B page, too, and I'm glad I did. I normally run between and 8.5 and a 9. i ordered a 9.5 in these. These was perfect. They fit beautifully. I suggest ordering 1/2 to a whole size larger in these, depending on how heavy of a sock you plan to wear with them. They run small, but they are SOOOO worth it!

The platform lug is in style, these are selling fast everywhere. I like that this is a lug sole but not an over-the-top sole, as I am no spring chicken—it's a slender lug sole boot. The price is very high for the shoe, especially since the sole is rubber, but the leather is absolutely beautiful and that sets it apart from knock-offs. My foot is a perfect 6.5 but I bought both sizes 6.5 and 7. The 6.5 ran tight on the top of the foot even with thin socks on (I've got NO extra fat on my feet) while the size 7 felt more comfortable on the top of my foot. The length was good on the 6.5. I overthought this forever, trying on each again and again but decided on the 6.5 because the 7 looked a bit bigger and I am petite, don't want my foot looking larger than need be. The 7 would have been fine but slipped just a tad—I could wear it easily using a thicker sock. Some suggest to size up in this boot, I decided not to. It's a very comfortable shoe to walk in, there is some padding inside. I've used to wear Rag & Bone's Newbury bootie and loved the comfort. I think this shoe will only work if your foot can fit stilettos or pumps—any extra fat or width will not fit this shoe.
