What it does: This soothing balm melts into a rich cleansing oil to dissolve makeup and impurities. Upon contact with water, it emulsifies to a hydrating milk that easily rinses off, creating an exceptional cleansing experience. It contains rose and mimosa waxes along with elderberry, starflower and optimega oils, and nourishes the skin's lipid barrier, soothing it with hydration and leaving skin feeling smooth and looking radiant.

How to use: Use daily as a cleanser or weekly as a nourishing face mask. Warm a pea-sized amount between your palms then massage over your face, neck and décolletage with light, circular motions. Moisten your fingertips and continue to massage in. Remove with a warm, damp cleansing cloth.

Amazing cleansing balm
The cleansing bomb works so well at removing a full face of make up. My skin felt so soft and there was barely any make up left on my face by the time I begin to use face wash. When I was gifted by Elemis with this cleansing bomb I was not sure how it would do, it has been one of the best cleansing balms I’ve ever used. Complimentary from elemis

Received half full
I love the balm, however mine was half full. I’ve emailed the company three times asking if this is normal , however , I’ve gotten no response from all three emails . Very disappointed

Smells off
So, I had the original cleansing balm, and I absolutely loved it. And I always love rose products so I bought this. I also have the rose cream and like that a lot as well. Somehow, my rose cleansing balm went bad and smells like stale cupboard. Which is a big disappointment since I have the large container and it’s not cheap. I feel like this is a one off, but still a good thing to be aware of. Maybe next time I’ll only buy the small sizes in the hope that the product won’t turn.

Excellent product
I originally began using the regular cleansing balm and loved the performance of the product but wasn’t in love with the scent. This cream easily and gently lifts all makeups off your skin, including mascara so you don’t have to pull at the delicate skin around your eyes. It rinses like a dream leaving your skin so soft (not greasy) and ever so lightly and delightfully rose scented. These products are not cheap but they are worth it. Highly recommend this product

Loved it at first but....
I found the longer I used the product the more irritated my face became until after 3 months I broke out in hives. The fragrence is very strong; maybe I had a reaction to that ingrediant. I have never had a problem with any Elemis product. Will not be using this any longer

Sensitive Skin Beware
I have very sensitive skin and it took a great facial professional to find the right products for my skin type. One of those products was the regular cleansing balm. When they were offering a three pack as a gift I was excited to try it. The smell is WONDERFUL but it also has sent in it that makes my skin irritated. Have tried it twice now and got another free gift with it in there, may have to give that away.
