I am so glad I checked the size guide. I never purchased this brand before. A size 8 fits me perfectly. My waist is a 30 and size guide stated a size 8 fits 29-31 waist. This dress fits me perfectly. The stock photo with the tall model makes the dress appear shorter. I am 5’2 n the dress is the my knees. I am going to take to my tailor and have it hemmed up. I like it a bit shorter. It drapes beautifully. The material is of excellent quality too. A nice cold black color as well. FYI: It does have a side zipper and I thought the size 8 would be too small in the breast area. It does zip up with no issues at all. I am so happy. The price point is great too. Sale or no sale. Princess Polly quality is excellent as far as I can tell. I will purchase more PP items.
