Really nice basic tank dress
I ordered two of these dresses - one mocha and the other in orchard. Love them both. The dresses are a very nice fabric and they are well made. I ordered the medium because, according to the size chart, the bust and waist measurements for the size small were about an inch less than my measurements and I didn't want it to be tight and clingy. The medium fits okay in the bust area but it is about 3-4 inches too big in the hips (I don't have a small bottom!) I wish I had gotten the small. It would have been perfect. It is stretchy fabric so I'm confident it wouldn't have been overly tight in the bust. Since I sew, I'll just take it in rather than going through the hassle of returning and reordering. Recommend that anyone thinking of ordering with body measurements slightly larger than the chart to order the smaller size. The dress is really cute and versatile. Highly recommend it! I would order more of these if there were other colors to choose from.

Viscose not rayon. I returned it because it was viscose which has the durability of like one washing machine cycle.

Love this dress
Thanks to all the reviewer comments on this dress. I was skeptical as to what size to order. I chose M based on the reviews and glad I did. I am curvy, pear shaped with a short torso. Wear a size 10-12 dress size depending on the label. The M fit perfectly. The dress fits all the right places yet is loose in problem areas like my tummy (which is not flat). The fabric is somewhat thin so you will need to wear appropriate undergarments for a smoother look.

Nice Dress, loose, comfy but baggy
I am 5'5" 130 lbs, I generally wear medium sizing, sometimes small, generally a size 4. After reading reviews that this item is true to size but knowing the fabric is stretchy and preferring a more form fitting style, I ordered this in small thinking it would be just right. It is really big on me! For $12 ea. I bought two but will be returning both and am going to order a couple of XS. Overall though the fabric is nice, it will make a good travel dress and it really can't be beat for the price. I have included two pics of the Philosophy dress on me and a Medium size dress I bought from H&M that is more the look I was going for.

material is very thin
Bought this in the brown color the fit is odd but still cute, you could tie it from the side, the material is very soft but thin and you can see things like bra strap, undies no matter which ones, if you have cellulite of any kind it will shine through probs cute for around the house but thats it. Bummed about the material, I'll be returning

TRUE MIDI Dress
I purchased 2 of these dresses....colors: Mocha & Highline B, both in MEDIUM.
I'm 5'7 & I usually wear MED but sometimes LRG for a better non touching fit.
This dress is Tha Bomb Dot Com!! It's soo flattering. I wish I could order every color.
It's work, play, church appropriate. Wear with nothing but big jewelry, or throw on a jacket for an office look or a cardigan for a more relaxed look.
The length is a TRUE midi dress. Like the literal definition of MIDI. Unlike most that label it as MIDI b/c i'ts popular. And FOR THIS PRICE?? Just get it...I promise you will wish you bought them all. Enjoyyyy....... :)

Flattering
I saw this on major sale at my local Nordstrom Rack. The material has good weight and thickness to it. I am a small on top and a size 4/27 on the bottom. My proportions are even. I tried on the extra small and small. The extra small was a bit fitted and the small was looser than what I'm used to. I ended up going with the small since it was a flattering fit and the perfect amount of loose without looking sloppy. I work in a business casual environment and it's perfect for that with a sweater. This dress is versatile. I can see myself wearing it with long cardigans, denim jacket, leather jacket, heels, booties, and sandals. It's TTS so don't size down or up. I came online to write this review and buy more colors!
