Amora Strapless Maxi Dress

I liked this online and really loved it when it arrived - the colors are so pretty and vibrant, the blues and pinks look really nice together on the cream base, and the material has a light linen feel (but the dress is lined so not see through or as cool as linen). Bit I was shocked by no pockets (as another reviewer said, it would be so natural given all the material, plus so many other dresses and skirts in this brand have pockets!!). That alone isn’t quite a dealbreaker. But it also runs big and just hangs off of you like drapery. I’d be afraid of flashing everyone if my little kid pulls on it hard! It would also benefit from better tailoring so it goes with a belt for some shape. Doesn’t come with one and adding one makes it puffy in the back cuz of its cut. As much as I like the color, I just don’t see myself wearing it much given those issues. So sadly it must go back.

I had to size down and then even then, the elastic at the bust seems lightly holding it on. Hopefully when I add a strapless bandeau bra, it holds even more. Super cute and was the style I was looking for. Doesn’t show through due to layers, but not too heavy. Looking forward to wearing in Italy this summer.
