Floral Tassel Trim Ruana

I am so impressed by this cover up. The quality of the fabric is absolutely outstanding: tightly woven but very supple and soft, with a beautiful drape. And it’s viscose, which means it will be wonderfully breathable whether I wear it on the beach or over pants and a shirt (I mostly plan to do the latter). But I hate how many cover ups are made of polyester, which I find absolutely sweltering. Instead Patricia Nash has given us a breathable cover up with great coverage that feels like butter and looks beautiful. And oh my goodness the pockets! They are deep and sturdy, and have these brilliant little anchors that keep them laying flat no matter what you put in them or how you move. That is the attention to detail I’ve so come to appreciate in PN products! I got this cover up in the Greek Ombré print and even though separately none of these are really “my color” somehow together they just look beautiful. I was slightly disappointed to find that the Greek key edging on my particular cover up was sew such that the cream colored borders are rather uneven, but happily it’s not glaring enough that it detracts from the overall beauty of the ruana. Overall I am so happy with this one that I am definitely considering buying it in other patterns.
