Very Very Very Poor Design
Is not a robe meant to be more than an open cardigan !?!
I just received this, and now completely understand why it is final sale.
Ordered a generous size for comfortable lounging…
This would fit perfectly if one was 6 foot 2, or taller, weighed 70-80 pounds,
and had arms that rivalled those of an orangutan.
Buyer beware. If a sale is too good to be true, there is generally a reason.
I can’t return this, so will now spend my time looking for someone that fits the
description, and donate this mishmash of a design to them.
Shame on you , Parachute ! Shame !
You have ( likely ) discontinued this product because of production inconsistencies, &
stuck your customers with nothing more useful, than an unfortunate learning experience.

Not at all what I was imaging
Beautiful out of the box. Couldn't wait to wash and wear it. Came out of the first wash (despite following the care instructions) shriveled and wrinkled, like it was an old poorly cared for garment. The belt rolled up into essentially a thin rope and couldn't be coaxed back flat. Not wanting to give up hope with all the positive reviews, I put it on and immediately out of the shower noticed the fabric is really itchy, which is not something I've experienced with high quality linen. Not exactly what I was looking forward to wrapping myself up with right out of the shower. Now I understand why it was on clearance with no returns :( Was looking forward to trying some of the other robes, but now I'm hesitant..

Wonderful lightweight robe for lounging
I grabbed this robe during a sale because the price was unbeatable, but based on review feedback I sized up from what I normally would wear. I'm 5'3" and 130 lbs, and I typically wear women's small. I ordered a medium in this robe and I'm glad I did. It's true that there's not a ton of extra fabric to wrap around for coverage, but I have enough to stay covered for lounging at home. I got my hubby and XL (he's typically a L) and he also observed the lack of 'extra' fabric to wrap around himself. All that being said, i am SO HAPPY with this robe! It's light for summer and feels so luxurious.I'd been wanting a linen robe for some time and I'm glad I chose this one. I dry it on a rack, smoothed out as much as possible, and once dry i put it in the dryer on no-heat and tumble a bit with some dryer balls to break up the initial stiffness. I haven't heard much else from my husband about what he thinks of his, but he looks really good in it and I've told him so.

Good quality, but very baggy sleeves
I normally wear a size large in women's. This is a beautiful robe of good quality linen, but the sleeves are about 4 inches too long and I need to roll them up. They are also very baggy and get in the way if I'm trying to work.

Lovely, but…
I want to love this robe—it is beautiful and well made, but it is tight around the middle. I am average sized—5’6, 130 pounds, and I ordered a Medium and it barely overlaps in the front. I don’t know if it is defective or if these robes are just not made for “wrapping up” in. I kept it as it was on sale, but I would not buy it again. I’ll definitely be hanging it to dry as if it shrinks an inch it will not be wearable
