My everyday favorite!!
Absolutely love these sandals! Have been wearing them almost every day! So very comfortable and y he thicker soul dresses them up a bit and they don’t look so earthy. Get tons of compliments!!

Disappointed
Not the level of quality expected of a genuine Birkenstock sandal. Arrived in a generic drawstring bag with nothing Birkenstock related enclosed. No leather smell, but a strong chemical odor. (The foot bed and straps were supposed to be real leather?) Multiple stickers are glued right onto both the footbeds? I get a lower level discount store vibe from this experience. Certainly not what you would expect from shoes purchased from Nordstrom's sister store! I had purchased these as a gift for my daughter who has worn Birks all of her life. (No way will I be wrapping these up!) I'm keeping fingers crossed waiting for the Dansko booties she wanted. (I ordered those from Nordstrom at regular retail price)

Strappy Sandal summer fun
Truth be told, this is my fourth pair of the Birkenstock Almina sandal but in black. The fit is the same as all the others, SUPER comfy walkable heel height and the leather is luxurious. I could seriously walk the dog in these bad buoys!
This pair is one star away from perfection because of staining, black dye transfer onto skin. After showering, the dye was no longer visible. So, soap and water is the wonder problem solver!

how long will it take for these to "break in"?
I followed the instructions on breaking these in.
My feet and the shoes have to be covered in bandages and moleskin for me to wear them for any period of time and to walk in them means I will get blisters.
At this rate I may have them "broken in" in ten years.
I've had other Birkenstocks and these do not live up to those other shoes' standards.
What a regretful purchase.
