runs big for a medium

The sweater is super soft and I love the color, but it run slightly large for a medium. I have a very short torso and my shoulder span between my chest and shoulders is shorter than most women, so I feel like the neck dips really low. I’m gonna try to order in a small hopefully it’s not too small.
