Marshmellow Beauty Blender Smoothing Sponge

I thought this sponge and packaging was SO cute and I had to purchase it. The instructions are to use it with their marshmallow primer, which I tried but didn’t like because it seems to soak up a lot of the product, meaning I had to use a lot more than I when I applied with my fingers. The shape of the sponge is okay for make up application to most of my face, but awkward anywhere you may need more precision, ex. into the corner or your eye. This is just given the shape - there are few curves/angles to work with. I will also mention that while the sponge washes clean easily, it is not durable. It started to show damage after just the second time cleaning it. Overall, it’s a cute product but I wouldn’t purchase again.

I loved this blender at first and I personally love the marshmallow shape and use the flat head to stipple and buff out product. Unfortunately after a month of use it’s already starting to tear. Which is surprising since it’s actually much denser than most of my beauty blenders. I clean it no differently than I do my other blenders and they still in tact no rips or tears. I’m sad this does not last that long since I did enjoy using it. This was my first nyx blender so I probably won’t buy another one from them.
