Wool Blend Maxi Pencil Skirt

I have narrow hips, so finding a skirt that fits me properly is almost impossible—most are too big in the hips. I also have a bit of a tummy, so my waist isn’t much smaller than my hips. Skirts without a built-in waistband are the only ones that work for me, and this skirt perfectly meets all my criteria. At first, I bought a size L. It fit well at the waist but was very loose in the hips. I was planning to return it, hoping a size M would become available. But then my sister, who has a similar figure (we’re sisters!), came over, fell in love with it at first sight, tried it on (it was slightly small for her), said she would lose a little weight, and decided to keep it. The length is perfect—I was worried it might be too long at 5'4", but it’s just right with heels. An added bonus is that it has a lining. So I definitely recommend this skirt to anyone with narrow hips!

I love this skirt and ended up buying both colors, black and heather. I can wear it to work with a button down and for evenings pair it with something else. It is well made and full lined. The wool is light and it has a high end look. I wish this also came in navy because it is quite versatile and wonderfully made.

I like the feel of the fabric, it looks really nice. The fit is so flattering and does not gap in the back (which is normally an issue since my hips are much wider than my waist). The design of the slit ensures modesty while also making it easy to walk in. The zipper closure is easy to zip as well. This skirt has pockets which is a dream!! I feel so powerful yet pretty with it on! I highly recommend it.
