Textured Collarless Jacket

I bought this after seeing it on a fashion bloggers website. It was an impulse purchase. Received it today…in less than a week. Tried it on and it fits very well, if just a little too short for my figure. I am returning it, because it’s a little too heavy for Atlanta summers, and I really don’t have a use for it. I would hang in my closet. However……..if you live where summers aren’t that hot, and you will make use of a somewhat dressy jacket ( would work for dinners out, office, etc.), BUY THIS JACKET! The fabric is substantial, it’s beautifully made, and has some high end details. For the record, I’m 5’9”, 185 lbs, usually wear a 12 or 14, purchased the XL in white. It really is gorgeous, and I have a feeling I’ll regret returning it; but I really don’t think I’d wear it in the lifestyle I live now.

I don't have pretty arms like Michelle Obama, so shopping is a challenge. I usually wear 14 to 16 petite, bought this in size Large regular. A tiny bit of give (elastane) in the sleeves, nice short length to wear over a cocktail dress, buttons are completely hidden, on the inside. This white color can be dressy, but the shape is modern, so could be worn with jeans or slacks for office to casual date night. Feels like nice textured cotton tweed.
