So Soft Robe

I bought this because it looks like the UGG robe I have in two colors, but which I think is overpriced. So I was glad to have a cheaper version. Upon receiving, the fabric looked almost the same but a little less thick. The size and styling were almost identical as my UGG robes. But there was a huge problem with the Nordstrom brand robe. The static was so overwhelming on my body, that the sparks almost hurt. So I washed the robe first in plain water which is supposed to remove some of the static. Although there was some improvement, I had to wash this robe two more times. After the first wash, there was little improvement. I also used static spray to no avail. I had a mind to return this product but I had already removed the tags and washed it. So I put this in my donation box. It was a waste of good money.

This robe is super soft and my wife loved it at first. After having it for about a month it needs to be thrown away. Theamount of fine black lint fibers that transfer to EVERYTHING is insane. It has created a fine layer across everything in its proximity. Even after wearing out of the shower the robe leaves a layer on your body so if you apply lotion it just balls up. Made the mistake of washing it with my towels and I had to rewash them because when using the towel, it transferred the fine black fibers to my skin. Mind you the fibers are so fine they were not visible on the towels. It’s really unfortunate because it was a nice robe until all of this.

From the color to the fit and feel, it’s perfect. The softness allows you to wrap the robe around your body and brings the cozy comfort and feel. Pink color comes in a smoky rose color and it’s soft to the eye. Washing it is same as any other soft knitted fabric, warm luke and dry on air fluff. I wouldn’t wash it with any other items to avoid fuzziness. It’s a well recommended robe if you stick to the instructions of care.
