Better have a very thin foot
I wanted to love these sandals. My local Rack only had them in 8 1/2. Super tight straps across the top of my foot. I ordered a 9 online. Same problem.
That is an unusual problem for my feet.

Comfortable but feet slid forward
I wore 8 1/2 and most of my sandals and purchased the natural cork in 8 1/2. It’s a very comfortable shoe, but the straps was just a little bit too roomy on my skinny feet. My feet kept sliding forward. Returned.
