Marled Turtleneck Merino Wool Blend Sweater

This sweater looks gorgeous on the website, and the few reviews that were posted are good, though I don't understand why. I received my package today and was very excited to open it. I opened it and even before trying it on I understood that it's not good. It's heavy, rough to touch, has a chemical smell. I tried it on anyways and the body is quite roomy but the neck is ridiculously tight. The fabric as i mentioned is very harsh, stiff and scratchy, feels so cheap. I really was hoping that I'd get a nice sweater, coz it looks beautiful on the website but , unfortunately, it'll have to go back. I think its one of the most awful things I ever got. Sorry but it's true

I like that this sweater is longline, and covers the bum, and due to the slits on the side, it has a slimmer look, so it’s not big and boxy like most other sweaters. It’s a bit oversized, I normally wear a medium, and bought a small, though after washing, I wished I would have bought the medium. The sleeves are longer, but also looks nice folded up on the ends. Looks great with black skinny jeans or a black pencil skirt with tights and ankle boots. It’s warm and cozy, and comfortable to wear.

Love the look and warm weight of this sweater. The fit is true to size and moderately relaxed. Sleeves are a perfect length for me (just below the wrist, as shown on the model). My only complaint is that the wool blend fiber is itchy on the neck, due to the high and snug turtleneck. Could be my sensitive skin, but I will definitely be wearing a high-collared layer under this sweater.
