Hurricane III Waterproof Rain Boot (Women)

I read the reviews of the calf size being problematic for some, but for the price I decided to take the chance. I’m happy I did. For reference, I am short 5’1” and ordered a size 8 (I usually wear size 7 in other shoes) and they are fine height wise and don’t cut into the back of my knee while sitting. Also, I measured the thickest part of my calf WITH lightly fleece lined leggings (so a bit thicker than regular spandex leggings) - And WITH the leggings on, my calf measured 15” and the boots fit perfectly fine with enough room to be comfortable while walking, but not a ton of extra space (which is fine with me). My ONLY complaint is the hunter green is not quite as dark as pictured, but I’ll still keep them. For the price, they are every bit as good as the competition. Also I should mention I always size up in boots because I have some sheepskin inserts I put in ALL my boots to make them warmer and more comfortable. So again, I wear size 7 in shoes (pumps, athletic, etc...) so these Nomads in a size 8 with my thick sheepskin inserts = perfect fit.

Cute as all get out, but the manufacturer did not put a ridge on the back of the boot to use your other foot to help take it off. They fit me perfectly, and without such a ridge, I had to call someone to come over and help get the boots off me!! I just bought a pair by another manufacturer and with the ridge, I could push them off straightaway.

While the foot fits, I didn’t think I had wide calf’s but this don’t go over my calf’s, they slouch except the material is sturdy so it’s very uncomfortable. I gave three stars because if you have a skinny leg and a size 7 foot, the quality seems quite durable however I wasn’t able to actually wear I will be returning them
