Great material, weird sizing

Followed the size guide on Nordstrom site, bought what should be my normal size. The shorts were almost 2 sizes too big. Checked the brand website and size guide and their sizes are wildly different. I’d recommend checking the brand website for actual product sizing. Material feels really nice and soft; the description says there’s no stretch but there is a slight stretch to these.
