Purchased for resistance training and foot pain
I purchased these specifically for resistance training and related foot pain. It's a nice lightweight shoe, but it honestly doesn't feel any different from a regular runner. The upturned toe actually makes squats more awkward, but it's been decent on the leg press, and I haven't had foot pain so far.

Great training shoe!
Nice secure fit and support around arches and heel and the right amount of room through toe box. New Balance fits my feet well in general. I like these shoes for training as they allow me a close feel and stability with surface. Probably not quite enough cushioning for a lengthy run, but fine for short sprints.

Good shoes for lifting
Took me some thinking through to order this shoes since there hasn't been any stock in a physical store for me try. But glad that I ended up with a size that fits well. This pair feels comfortable and stable while I do my strength workouts in the gym.
