Kids' New-B First Sneaker

Initially, I loved the velcro flaps as it made the shoes super easy for my 3-year-old to take on and off on his own. They also looked cool - like he had lace up shoes even though they were velcro. They seemed comfy and they fit him well. However, after 2 months the velcro is almost completely useless making the shoes unwearable. Now, I have to buy new shoes all over again and basically throw these out because they don't stay velcro-ed and won't stay on his feet if he runs. I can't even figure out why the velcro won't work. There's not a ton of debri in it - we even washed them (air dried) to see if that would help - no luck. Do not recommend if you have a toddler who plays outside every day and you want these shoes to last.
