Gender Inclusive 574 Sneaker

This was my first time ever purchasing New Balance shoes, and I am extremely disappointed. I carefully checked the sizing in-store and ordered the exact same size for the 574 model. While the pair I bought for my son the same day fits perfectly, my pair clearly did not fit my foot properly. The toe area felt noticeably shorter. At first, I assumed this discomfort was normal for new shoes, but after wearing them to work for several days, the pain became unbearable. My big toe turned black, and I have been suffering from severe pain for days. I have never experienced anything like this before and honestly do not know what to do. I always keep my toenails short and clean, so this was not caused by improper care. Because of the pain, I can no longer wear these shoes and may have to throw them away. This experience has been very upsetting and frustrating.
