I initially purchased these for myself but they were the wrong shoes for my feet. They felt horrible. So I gave them to a friend whose feet could appreciate them. She LOVES them, wears them or all her line dancing classes and walking. Success!

Not the same as V13
I love the V13. These are not as good. They are a little different in the height of the bottom of the shoe. I do not like them as much.

The Worst Shoes I Have Ever Purchased
I walk three miles a day and I've had several pairs of shoes, including other New Balance. I always buy wide, but these are not truly wide. I have worn them three times and they hurt my feet so badly, I end up taking them off mid-walk and going barefoot in the AZ Sun. THAT is preferable to wearing these things. I wish I could return them. Don't buy if you prefer a wide-width shoe - unless you love foot pain.
