BB650RV1 High Top Sneaker (Men)

Very comfortable! Love the old school look and the contemporary memory foam that makes the bottom of your feet feel great with these NBs. They're a bit heavy at the ankles, but feel like they'll support your ankles better than the modern day sneakers. If we get nostalgic, that's the way sneakers were in the 80s! These are "throw backs " The newer sneakers are lightweight, which is great. However, the way they're designed ankles are more vulnerable to injury in my opinion because the newer shoes don't have the same ankle support. You can play ball in these, but the traction and souls aren't as good as the modern day sneakers (i.e. ,my Lebron Nike Soldiers are designed more for this day and age). Better to play in the current shoes of today, if you're a more serious hoopster. Great shoes nevertheless, especially to walk around and make us late 40 and 50 year old middle aged folks appreciate the good old days of Magic, Bird, Ewing, Kareem, Bernard King and Jordan before he started his own phenomenal "Nike Air" sneaker and eventually his own brand! I recommend them.

I have ordered New Balance sneaker size 9. I received a size 8.5. I have returned the size 8.5 to the Nordstrom Rack in Syracuse, NY. This store would not refund the shipping charge. I have had to call up customer service to have to refund the shipping charge. This extra call was inconvenient!!
