For Her Fleur Musc Eau de Parfum

Ok, it’s my fault because this was a blind buy. But going into the store to sample first is not worth the Covid-germs. When this bottle arrived I sprayed it and thought eeeh it’s ok, smelled nice enough, but it just wasn’t what I was expecting. I thought the rose would be a little more pronounced and the musk not so heady. But it came off as a mostly musky patchouli fragrance with the florals more subdued. I kept trying to find the rose, but it’s barely there. IMO, the amber musk is the main star, the patchouli the supporting actor and the florals are basically extras in the scene, with the rose making only a cameo but without lines lol. That amber is just so overwhelming though -well, for me at least. I love soft musks but the musk in this fragrance is too in your face. It’s a pleasant-enough scent that I thought to let it settle into my skin, to see if it develops over time, but the muskiness just got muskier with the dry down so much so that after 5 minutes I developed the worst migraine. I can’t speak to its longevity because I had to wash it off. And, I can also say that my husband didn’t prefer the scent trail either. Again, it’s nice enough, but just not my cup-o-tea.
