Product was expired!
We opened the jar and it had yellowed and was crusty and dry. This was the 2nd time I’ve ordered the Murdock Shaving Cream and it’s arrived in this condition. Obviously, I’m returning it.

Great shave cream. Pricey, so I tried four other shave creams lower in price, and none could match the quality of Murdock. Thick lather, moist, and great fragrance, Murdock is a luxury you deserve to start your day.

Excellent Shave Cream, but..
I have purchased two containers of this shave cream over the past 3 years (it lasts.) It is the best shave cream I have used, and I’ve been shaving my head since ‘94. My complaint is that it has lost its moisture in storage and needs a careful eye introducing water back into it. Only had this problem with Art of Shaving products when they got old. Hope their stock has gotten fresher.

Short lived love affair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this product when I first started using it. The lather is fantastic, very rich. And the fragrance is subtle but very fresh. However the problem I have with it is with 'breakouts'. I use it to shave my face and head and breakout in spots consistently after using this product. Which is odd as they claim to use no harmful ingredients and I generally never react to skin care products. I have gone back to an old favorite and problems have gone. Disappointing.
