MOTHER
Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

Nothing like the picture
Not worth it, came as damaged also it is nothing like the picture. The picture shows it is more bell shaped ( tighter on the hips wider on the legs) but it is the same with from top to bottom. Not flattering.

Different In Person
I was super excited to get these based on the stock photo and description, however, I ended up disappointed. First, the leg doesn't have a graduated flare as pictured; it's the same wide leg width all the way through. Second, the denim material is SUPER thin! I can't see these jeans lasting through years of wash and wear. Finally, between how thin they feel and how distressed they are, they just look like old jeans. They don't look chic, vintage, or elevated. Definitely NOT a pair of "forever Mother jeans". You could pull this look or appeal off with any old pair of wide leg jeans. Save your money and go with one of their thicker, stretchier, and more investment-worthy styles. They are soft, which is about the only notable thing about them and they run TINY. Pass!

Love this fit!
Purchased for my bff. She was so happy with the length and texture. Her 1st pair of Mother jeans but it won’t be her last. She’s 5’6” and they didn’t touch the ground. Maybe not for the tall crowd (like me) but perfect for the average size. Runs very true to size. Not too high wasted.

not as pictured
These jeans are not as pictured. They are significantly longer than shown, and a different shape. They also run extremely small in size.
