perfect for 5”4
I’m 5”4, 145ishlbs give or take, longer legs compared to torso, apple shaped. I have to toggle between regular length and petite jeans (often petite comes up too short and regular length too long). These fit everywhere perfectly- the rise and the inseam are spot on and the cut is so flattering. The wash is perfect! I usually wear between a 28/29 but sized up to 30P because I wanted a looser fit. So comfortable, I don’t dash to change in to sweatpants as soon as I walk through the door when I’m wearing these. Many compliments received when I wear them. I wish they came in more washes, i would legit buy them all!

Not petite
These are not petite jeans. I’ve bought a couple other petite jeans from Mother and these do not fit a petite frame at all. The rise went up to my ribcage, the inseam is so long I’d have to hem at least 5 inches off to wear with heels, there’s awkwardness in the zipper area because of too much fabric. A solid no.

not petite! ultra high rise
Ordered petite in hopes that the rise wouldn’t be over my ribs, but it is still ultra high rise. These are a beautiful wash and have so much potential, but I will never feel comfortable with pants so high.

Buy these jeans
These are great jeans. They are super comfortable and the best thing is I don’t have to have them altered. I normally wear a 29 and purchased the size 28. I’m 5’4” 148 pounds and they fit perfect. I can wear a flat, sneaker or kitten heal and they don’t drag. Although, for my taste, too short to wear with a 3-4” wedge. They do have a super high waist so that might be an issue for some petite ladies. The color is great for summer and the leg isn’t too wide. Now I need to find them in regular length for heels!

Love the fit!
I would say they are just a little more snug in hips which I think is where the petite comes in but they fit so well. I like they pull me in a little, yet they are still comfortable. I’m 5’5 131 lbs and wear a 26! Get them!
