Amazing Beautiful Red Cherry Moab 2 Remix
I received the Moab 2 Remix in dark cherry recently and am very pleased. The fit is perfect and the construction is the highest quality. This shoe is solid with excellent rear foot motion control. I have had excellent experiences with all of my Merrell shoes as well as their parent company, Wolverine. These Moab 2 Remixes continue with this tradition.
They took about a day to break in. I think this was mainly due to the footbed conforming to my foot. The size is perfect and true to size. The dark cherry color is bold but tasteful and coordinates well with many colors of pants, although bright red socks clash badly. (Note, wear neutral color socks.)

strange design. sent them back.
This is the strangest design that I have seen. The "tongue" goes down the side of the shoe's fromt rather than down the middle of the shoe front. I usually love Merrell shoes but I sent these back after I discovered how uncomfortable the design is.

My New Favorite Shoe
These arrived last week for me and they are already easily my favorite shoe I've owned in years. Just from an aesthetic perspective, they perfectly execute that classic Moab look while also featuring a modernized, almost eclectic style––they are unassumingly cool. With regard to the fit, they are snug and provide a lot of stability, making it a versatile wear for workouts, walks, or just grabbing a couple brewskis. As another reviewer had mentioned, they may run slightly small. I wear a size 13, but these lean more toward a tighter fit. Not unwearable, but just hug the feet a little. But that's down to personal preference.
