Mizzle Wool Runner Water Repellent Sneaker (Men)

There were several reviews saying this shoe was hot, therefore I thougt they would make a good winter shoe. Fit is good, kind of narrow for my foot but they quickly stretch to fit well. Pros: -realively warm, ok for cooler weather. -the traction patches on the soles are an improvement over previous allbirds. -Fit is decent for narrow feet, and they stretch to accomodate wide feet. Cons: -the water resistant material makes the shoe feel a little muggy due to not breathing as well as the regular Allbirds. I have not adequately tested the water resisance yet. -They are a little hard to get on, perhaps due to the toungue bellows although I do like the bellows for added warmth.

Absolutely love the style, comfort and the ability to shed rain - but the biggest question I have is how do you get your foot inside without breaking down the back? I am a men's standard size 12 in USA and although I love the comfort and look of this shoe, it takes me literally a couple of minutes to get my foot inside the shoe. So although I love them and the style of them, I can only give them three stars and I am sorry to report that I do not think I will buy them again because it should not be so difficult to get your foot inside the shoe without having to break down the back every single time. UGH! On a positive note, all of my work colleagues love the look when I wear them with a suit.
